Mission
The ABQLA, a non-profit voluntary association of library personnel and friends in the province of Québec, provides a network for its members' mutual support. It serves the community through education, advocacy and communication.

- Raise the political and public awareness of the role of libraries in Québec
- Strengthen ties with national, provincial and local library organizations
